In the High School for Youth and Community Development (YCD), we believe that all students should have access to high quality, challenging instruction.  The supportive and nurturing environment at the High School for Youth and Community Development has allowed our students to gain the confidence and determination to be competitive in this ever changing society. 

Our instructional support students make up 20% of the population.  Our students have been able to graduate on time and attend major colleges and universities with the support of our comprehensive college pathway program. Since we opened our school in 2004, several students have been chosen as Valedictorians and Salutatorians. AT YCD, we are proud of our Inclusion program and have worked hard to meet the needs of all of our students and to maintain high expectations for all.
